Do you treat department of Veteran's Affairs Patients?: Yes
Will Medicare cover my treatment?: As a general rule, Medicare will not cover any dental treatment. However, occasionally Medicare will cover a very limited amount of treatment in certain patients who have a serious medical condition which is affected by their dental health. This scheme requires consultation between your doctor and the dentist and may also require approval from Medicare Australia.
Can I use my Health Care Card or Pension Card?: A valid Health Care Card or Pension Card only entitles you to free treatment in the government run Queensland Health Dental Clinics.
How long before I can get an appointment?: For emergency treatment or a toothache, we will make every endeavour to see you on the same day. There may be a longer wait for non emergency treatment, depending on which dentist you see.
Are you a preferred provider for a private health fund?: Ross, John and Liz are preferred providers for HCF. We have HICAPS facilities, which allows for on the spot claims from most private health funds.
